There was a fight between the legislators in the assembly of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the previous day. The session saw a heated argument by the legislators which soon turned into an all-out ruckus. In this debate, the members abused each other and made serious allegations. According to media reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MLA Faheem Rabbani thrashed former PoK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider with his cellphone.

The whole matter started gaining momentum when Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Latif Akbar accused PoK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas of bribing Imran Khan to become a member of the assembly. Soon after, there was a fight between the members of the assembly. PTI's Faheem Rabbani hurls a cell phone targeting former PoK PM Raja Farooq Haider.
Uproar in the assembly
Cursing former PoK PM Haider, the opposition leader said the prime minister has reached the assembly by bribing PTI president Imran Khan, while I am in the assembly since 1985. These allegations made by the PPP leader created a ruckus among the MLAs. According to local media, the PoK Assembly Speaker intervened and asked the legislators on the treasury bench to bring a privilege motion if they had any objection to the speech of the opposition leader.

In contrast, a privilege motion against the Leader of the House was moved by PPP leader Latif Akbar, stating that Ilyas was the one who used abusive words against him on the media. Akbar also accused Ilyas of taking money from the Zakat fund and demanded an inquiry into the matter. Meanwhile, PTI MLA Faheem Rabbani threw a cell phone targeting former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan. This led to a fight between the MLA of the opposition and the member of the Treasury Bench.
