The war of words between China and America has intensified. Chinese President Xi Jinping has warned at a meeting of the Davos World Economic Forum that the global conflict could have dire consequences. Jinping has issued this warning after the Biden administration warned Beijing during the recent India-China border talks that its efforts to threaten neighboring countries are worrying. America has also said that it will stand with its partner countries. Is the Chinese President's latest statement a response to the threat made by the Biden administration? What are the implications of this?

4- Prof. Pant says that Taiwan can become a major reason for the confrontation between the US and China. If this happens, it will not be possible to ignore the role of India, an important partner of America in the Quartet of Quad and a major power in the Indian Ocean. This is the reason why America is targeting Beijing these days, citing the protection of Taiwan's interests. Taiwan is the second important front of the American plan in the blockade of China. The US has already made it clear that it will respond to any action by China against Taiwan. On the other hand, China opposes any foreign interference in Taiwan, citing its One-China policy. Chinese fighter planes are seen flying in the sky of Taiwan.

Who is  Anthony  Albanese
