Two planes coming from Dubai to India narrowly avoided colliding on the same runway, DGCA sought report from UAE

Two planes coming to India on Sunday narrowly escaped after colliding with each other at Dubai Airport. Both the planes were ready to take off in a span of five minutes on the same runway. The mistake was caught in time, saving hundreds of lives. The investigation of the matter has been started.
According to the report, the flight from Dubai to Hyderabad was about to take off from the runway. At the same time the crew saw an aircraft coming at high speed in the same direction. The second plane was about to take off for Bangalore. The Air Traffic Control informed the pilots of both the aircraft in time. After this, the Bangalore-bound aircraft took off and the Hyderabad-bound aircraft was turned aside. The Air Accident Investigation Sector, the aviation investigation body of the United Arab Emirates, has started an investigation, calling it a serious matter.
DGCA asks UAE to share probe report
According to Pretr, the Indian aviation regulator DGCA has asked its UAE counterpart to share the investigation report on how the plane survived the crash. DGCA chief Arun Kumar said on Friday that both the aircraft were registered in the UAE. The incident is also from the same airport. In such a situation, according to the International Civil Aviation Organization, the same people have to do the investigation. However, we have asked them to share the investigation report.
