‘Unacceptable Posts’ against Israel lead to the suspension of an Air Canada pilot

The biggest airline in the nation, Air Canada, has temporarily suspended a pilot for making “unacceptable” anti-Israel postings on social media. Following a sudden assault on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group in charge of the Gaza Strip, this disciplinary action was taken.

The pilot in issue, Mostafa Ezzo, was suspended for using derogatory language against Israel on social media and for donning pro-Palestinian colors over his uniform. Ezzo’s actions drew harsh criticism online and accusations of antisemitism.

“We are aware of the offensive posts made by a pilot for Air Canada. He was terminated from service on Monday, October 9 because we are treating this situation seriously. We vehemently reject violence of any kind,” Air Canada said in a statement on X.

In reaction to Mostafa Ezzo’s social media remarks, the airline swiftly removed him from service, according to Peter Fitzpatrick, a spokesman for Air Canada, who talked with The Toronto Sun shortly after the problem was discovered.

Fitzpatrick emphasized that the pilot’s personal beliefs did not coincide with those of Air Canada. The airline’s representative made it clear that Ezzo had never been given permission to speak on the company’s behalf.

This information comes as Air Canada has momentarily stopped operating flights to Tel Aviv owing to the worsening tension in the area. The Canadian government has made announcements about evacuation measures for its residents.
