Chandigarh. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar unfurled the national flag at his residence here on Sunday while participating in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. This information was given in an official statement. He also extended best wishes to the people of the state on the eve of Independence Day. The Chief Minister said the national flag is the pride of every Indian. All the citizens of the country take pride in hoisting the national flag in their homes. Khattar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started this unique campaign to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people. 

He said, "I am happy that the people of Haryana have played an important role in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' by hoisting the tricolor in their homes. He said that so far more than ten thousand programs have been organized across the state under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and many more programs will be organized in the future also. Khattar called upon the residents of Haryana to take a pledge to uphold the spirit of independence.
