India Records 186 New Covid Cases, Bringing the Total to 2,501

The number of coronavirus infections in India increased by 186 in a single day, although the number of active cases dropped to 2,501, according to figures provided on Saturday by the Union health ministry.

According to figures updated at 8 am, the dead toll has maintained at 5,31,888. According to the report, the overall number of Covid cases is at 4.49 crore (4,49,92,648), and the active cases now represent 0.01 percent of all infections.

The website of the health ministry reports that the national Covid recovery rate is 98.81%.

There are now 4,44,58,259 patients who have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate is now 1.18 percent.

The Covid vaccination has now been given across the nation 220.66 crore times, according to the ministry’s website.
