PM Modi will address the national conference of environment ministers of the states today, know what will be the focus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day National Conference of Environment Ministers of different states to be held in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat today. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Narendra Modi will also address the gathering on this special occasion through video conference.

The program will be held in 6 sessions

In a statement issued by the PMO, it has been said that in this conference the focus will be on increasing the forest area with special emphasis on restoration of degraded land and wildlife conservation. There will be 6 thematic sessions in this two-day conference to be held on 23rd and 24th September. These include topics such as life, challenges of climate change, environment planning for single window evacuation facilities for environmental projects, forest management, pollution control and prevention, wildlife management, and plastic and waste management. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in the program will be done at 10:30 am.
