At Kullu’s Pipal Jatra, Manisha was proclaimed Spring Queen

The Spring Festival, also known as Pipal Jatra in the local dialect, took place from April 28 to 30 at Kala Kendra. Manisha Thakur of Kullu was declared the winner of the Spring Queen beauty competition 2024. In yesterday’s finals, Jasmine Thakur finished third, while Radhika Thakur finished as the first runner-up. Twenty competitors battled in different rounds for a variety of titles.

Shweta Dimalu received the title of Beautiful Eyes, Sakina was named Miss Personality, Divyakshi was named Miss Beautiful Hair, and Akshita was named Miss Smile.

Shweta Dimalu was named Miss Beautiful Eyes, Sakina was named Miss Personality, Divyakshi was named Miss Beautiful Hair, and Akshita was named Miss Smile. Kullu DC Torul S Raveesh, the cultural evening’s chief guest, presented the winners in a number of categories.

In addition to the crowns, the first runner-up received Rs 25,000, the second runner-up received Rs 15,000, and the Spring Queen received Rs 35,000. The attendees also received gift baskets and participation certificates.

On the third and last day of the cultural evening of the festival, folk singer Ramesh Thakur captivated the crowd. The crowd applauded his Kullvi tunes. CM Toshi, Jeevan Budhal, and Anil Suryavanshi, folk musicians, also performed outstanding concerts.

The Surya cultural group performed a performance to kick off the cultural event. Applause was shown for the performances of Rinku Thakur, Mahi Thakur, Dev Negi, Dhanesh, Rishita, Asha, Vishakha, Ajay, Manish, Ram Singh, Pankaj, and Yashwant. The audience was amused by the many dance styles of the Mahila Mandal Dalash orchestra group, which included Anni, Sonakshi, Romita, and Manthika, as well as the Nashing musical group.

The melodic voices of Rakesh Sharma of Tipri, Rakesh Bhardwaj of Dhalpur, Devanshi Thakur of Lug Valley, Manchand and Sesram of Manali, Vishal Jaswal and Kushal of Anni, Santosh Pranav, Sunny Verma, Tara Sharma, and Himanshu Sharma of Gandhinagar, and Devendra Kumar, Kishan Thakur, and Karishma of Fojal mesmerized the audience. The crowd praised the Sutradhar Kala Sangam artists for their amazing dance performance.
