Ingredients of Badam Kulfi
- 2 cups peeled and peeled, ground almonds
- 2 cups condensed milk
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 15 saffron
- 6 pieces pistachios
- 3 tbsp boiled almonds for garnishing
Step-1 Boil Milk and Almonds
In a large bowl add ground almonds, cream and condensed milk. Whisk them together till they become thick. Keep it aside. Then take a pan and pour milk in it. Heat it on high flame and bring the milk to a boil. When the milk starts boiling, add saffron threads. Mix well and remove the pan from the flame and let the mixture cool down.
Step-2 Pour the mixture into the kulfi mold
When it cools down, add it to the almond mixture and mix well. It should be creamy. Take another pan, heat it on medium flame. Add finely chopped pistachios and almonds to the pan and fry for a few seconds. After this add it to the kulfi mixture, keep the rest for garnish. Mix it well and pour the mixture into the kulfi mould.
Step 3 Serve it with chilled falooda
Now cover the top with a lid or butter paper. Keep them in the freezer for 4 hours or till they are set. After this remove the kulfi from the mold and put some pistachios and almonds on it for garnishing. You can also serve this delicious dessert recipe with cold falooda for a better experience.
