With a wide range of options catered to every taste and interest, the Delhi World Book Fair 2024 has enthralled readers of all ages. From engaging fiction, comics, and novels to instructional tools, the expo offers everything for all ages, from young children to adolescents.

Harper Collins’ children products manager, Smit Zaveri, emphasized the abundance of choices for beginning readers.

“Every age group can find a book at the fair,” she added. “We have board books, touch-and-feel books, and bath books that change color in water to help toddlers in the 0–3 age range become familiar with sounds and textures,” the spokesperson said.

She emphasized, “The primary goal of bath and board books is to help children develop the motor skills necessary for grasping objects.”

Mahesh Nanjundaiah, national sales manager of Simon & Schuster India, went on to discuss the options for kids in the three to five age range as he moved up the age range. He clarified, saying that interactive books like “Bhangra Baby” highlight enjoyable activities like dancing, while other books have light text and captivating graphics for bedtime stories. These books also make reading enjoyable for young readers.

Books in the early age group that are geared at kids between the ages of five and nine include short chapters. Picture books include a lot of images and provide young readers with interesting material.

Books in the middle grade range in age from 10 to 16 and include chapter books as well as a combination of fiction and non-fiction.

Popular books like “Geronimo Stilton” and “Thea Stilton” were emphasized by Scholastic executive Mukesh, along with timeless titles like “Ready Freddy,” “Cat Kid Comic Club,” “Black Beauty,” and “Secret Garden.”

The creative head of DK Delhi, Malavika Talukar, highlighted the richness and originality of books that tackle a range of subjects, including space exploration, when it came to educational materials.

Growing in popularity is BookTok, which offers a large collection of young adult novels. “We have a variety of romance and fantasy books for young adults,” Mahesh said, “including works by Colleen Hoover and titles like ‘IceBreaker’ and ‘Better than the Movies.”

In addition, Simon & Schuster is entertaining readers with English-translated Mangas like as “One Piece,” “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “SpyxFamily,” “Death Note,” and many more as it celebrates its 100th year.

These selections, which are highly favored by children and teens, broaden the variety of choices offered at the Delhi World Book Fair in 2024. Book enthusiasts of all ages and interests are guaranteed an exciting experience at the book expo with its wide selection of literary treasures.
