Karnataka PGCET 2024: Exam Date Is Probably June 29–30; Revised Syllabus

The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) tentative date for 2024 has been announced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The dates of the Karnataka PGCET 2024 test are June 29 and June 30, according to the official notice. An official notice on a change to the Karnataka PGCET syllabus 2024 was also sent by the test body. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 curriculum and exam format have been “rationalized” in light of the most recent syllabus, according to the KEA.

“After consulting with Visvesvaraya Technological University, the curriculum for the PGCET 2024–25 MBA, MCA, ME, M-Tech, and M Arch courses has been updated. The most recent university curriculum and other competitive exam patterns have been taken into consideration while rationalizing the syllabus and question paper format for postgraduate degrees. PGCET 2024–2025 will follow the updated curriculum that is available on the KEA website, according to a formal announcement from KEA.

Regarding the updated examination structure, the 100-mark Karnataka PGCET exam would be administered in a single session. There will be a 120-minute exam period. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on each question paper, each worth one mark. The applicants should be aware that there won’t be any deductions for poor performance in the test.

The candidates from all streams for whom the updated Karnataka PGCET 2024 curriculum will be relevant were further mentioned by the examination body. The Karnataka Examinations Authority went on to explain that the question paper for the MBA and MCA will be in multiple-choice question (MCQ) style, with each of the 100 questions worth one mark.

Candidates wishing to be admitted into postgraduate programs provided by state universities and institutes, such as ME, MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch, must take the PGCET test in 2024. Interested applicants may apply for the test by going to kea.kar.nic.in, the Karnataka Examinations Authority’s official website.

How to Apply for the Karnataka PGCET 2024
Step 1: Visit the official KEA website.

Step 2: Choose “New User” and provide your registration information as prompted.

Step 3: After that, log in using the password and user ID that were created.

Step 4: Complete the application by providing the necessary personal and educational information.

Step 5: To continue with the application form, upload the scanned copies of your signature and picture.

Step 6: To finish the registration procedure, pay the required application fee.

Step 7: Save the confirmation page by clicking submit.

Step 8: Print the application form and save it for later use.

Upon registration, applicants in the general category will need to pay an application fee of Rs 650, while those in the reserved category must pay Rs 500.
