Lit fest comes to a close

At Sector 25, Chitkara International School hosted the last day of the three-day Chitkara Lit Fest. Prominent personalities, including spoken word artist Naib Midha, actor Ashish Vidyarthi, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, spoken word artist Ankur Warikoo, Jerry Pinto, Rochelle Potkar, and Zac O’Yeh, were among those who participated in the talks throughout the first two days.

Utkarsh rises to the pinnacle of the state

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22D student Utkarsh Sharma, a class 12 student, brought honors to the school when he won the state championship in the National Standard Examination in Biology, which was administered by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Of the 230 applicants in Chandigarh, he has been ranked in the top 1%. Amita Khorana, the principal and director of the school, congratulated Utkarsh on his accomplishment.

In order to identify areas of common interest, officials from the National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (AIST) and HORIBA Co Ltd from Japan met with the PU-IIT Ropar-Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations (PI-RAHI) Foundation, a Northern Region S&T Cluster. Attendees included Ms. Neha Arora, Chief Operating Officer of the S&T Cluster, Principal Investigator Prof. Rajat Sandhir, and Director of Punjab University’s Research and Development Cell, Prof. Harsh Nayyar.
