Results for the TN 12th (HSE+2) in 2024: Pass Rate by Year

On March 22, the class 12 test was finished by the Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu. This year’s Tamil Nadu HSE +2 results will be released at 9:30 a.m. today, May 6. Those who took the test may verify their results by going to the official website, dge.tn.gov.in.

More than 8.51 lakh students from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu attended the TN Board HSC examinations in 2023. Approximately 536 lakh students were enrolled in the scientific stream, 2.54 lakh in the commerce stream, 14,000 in the arts stream, and 46,000 in the vocational stream out of the total 8.51 lakh students. In all, 755,451 pupils, or 94.03%, passed the previous year. The percentage of female students who passed was 96.38, while the percentage of male students who passed was 91.45. The pass rate in the Puducherry district was 92.67 percent, with public schools accounting for 85.38 percent of the total. In 2023, 3,923 PwD students out of 4,398 total passed the TN Board 12th grade test.

Approximately 912,00 students appeared in 2022; 8,21,000 lakh of them passed. In 2022, 93.80% of candidates passed the Tamil Nadu TNDGE Class 12 exam.

In the year 2021, the pass percentage was 100%. Both male and female candidates passed with an identical 100% pass rate out of 816,473 lakh pupils.

The total pass percentage for the year 2020 was 92.3%. Over 720,209 students passed out of 779,931 lakh students. The passing percentage was 89.41% for male students and 94.88% for female students.

Following the TNDGE 12th results, what?
Upon successful completion of the test, students may choose to pursue undergraduate or diploma programs. College and university admissions will commence shortly after the TN HSC result of 2024 is announced. If a student wants to work in engineering, medicine, or another professional sector, they have to take admission tests.
