Students connect via the internet from Hamirpur to Nagoya

Here today, students from Nakamura Senior High School in Nagoya, Japan, and Him Academy Public School (HAPS) organized a virtual cultural exchange program. According to Dr. Himanshu Sharma, the goal of this interactive curriculum is to let students learn about and connect with many cultures and societies. She claimed that the children also discussed the finer points of food and the educational system. She said that despite their outward differences, both nations share many cultural traits.

Participating in the virtual meeting were students from the school, including Shanaya Rathor, Janvi, Arshiya, Kaustabh, Ananyashri, Shad, Aalm, Mayank Sharma, Atharv Chauhan, and Sabhaya Mahajan. The Japanese attendees included Yuna Tagta, Miyu Sakaguchi, Momoha Nishimura, Soui Azuma, Niinomi Lemony, and Akihito Tanaka.

Bharti Sharma and Shalimi Malhotra, two HAPS instructors, served as important program resources.
