WBCHSE West Bengal HS Result 2024: 58 Students Placed in the Top 10; Abhik Das Takes First Place in the 12th Exam

The WBCHSE Higher Secondary Examination 2024 results have been made public. Up to 58 pupils have achieved spots in the top 10. With 496 out of 500 points, McWilliams High School in Alipurduar’s Abhik Das has taken first place. With 495 points, Soumyadeep Saha finished in second place. Thirteen pupils from the Hooghly district are on the merit list out of a total of fifty-eight.

The West Bengal High School 2024 test ran from February 16 to February 29. This year, there were 755324 applicants in upper secondary. Exams were administered at 2341 testing locations across the states. Ninety percent of the pupils who took the test passed. In 2023, 89.25% of applicants passed, placing 87 of them in the top 10. Last year, almost 8,53,000 pupils took the test.

East Midnapore has led the list of districts once again, with South 24 Parganas, West Medinipur, Kalimpong, and Kolkata following. With a 95.75% pass percentage, East Midnapore was also the best-performing district the previous year.

After 69 days, the findings of the HS were released. Students who took the WB HS exam may see their results at and, the official websites. At 3:30 pm, the online link to see the results will be active. On May 10, students may pick up physical copies from their individual schools.

To be eligible for the test, WB Board students must get at least 33% of the potential points on the WBCHSE class 12 exam and 20% on the practical examinations. Candidates who place in the first division with a score of at least 480 or higher will be grouped with those who place in the second division with a score of between 360 and 479. Scores in the range of 272 to 359 will be used to determine the third division.
