In order to prevent removing essential oils, Dr. Taneja advises beginning with a mild, moisturizing cleanser. It leaves skin feeling clean and aids in clearing the upper layers of the skin of dirt, makeup, and other debris. Hydrating cleansers keep your skin soft and supple after washing your face, preventing dryness.
2. Compact Moisturizer
Lightweight moisturizers are designed to provide the skin with just the right amount of moisture. They work well for every skin type and every season. Dr Taneja advised using a moisturizing product that is light and oil-free to provide the skin the essential moisture without blocking pores.
Even in the winter, sunscreen is essential for protecting your skin from UV radiation. To avoid outbreaks, think about using a sunscreen that is non-comedogenic. One of the best and easiest ways to safeguard your skin’s health and look at any age is to use sunscreen. It is a necessary part of a daily cosmetic regimen. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, use sunscreen with an SPF of 60 or higher.
4. Using exfoliants
Dr. Taneja advises exfoliating once every two weeks to clear clogged pores and get rid of dead skin cells, but stay away from abrasive scrubs that could make oiliness worse. Lastly, to support general skin health, drink enough of water and eat a balanced diet high in vitamins and antioxidants.
