Puducherry, Dec 14 In Puducherry, 21 new cases of covid-19 were reported in the Union Territory, increasing to 37,513 cases. He said that 21 new cases were detected after examining 1,981 samples. With this, the cases of infection in the Union Territory increased to 37,513. The director said that the recovery rate of patients is 97.53 percent and the virus death rate is 1.65 percent.

Corona cases are rising once again in the country. Daily the number of cases of infection coming up is becoming new everyday. According to the data released on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry, 18 thousand 711 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. 14392 people have also been discharged during this period. In the last 24 hours, 100 people have died from Corona. With this figure, the total number of cases in the country now stands at 1,12,10,799, out of which a total of 1,08,68,520 patients have been discharged. At the same time, 1,57,756 people have died in the country from Corona. At present, there are 1,84,523 active cases in the country. At the same time, 2,09,22,344 people have been vaccinated.

At the same time, figures of six states and two union territories are going to increase the tension for the central government. After seeing the increase in these states in the matters of deli, the government is under full supervision. Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand as well as Union Territories of Delhi and Chandigarh. Special attention has been given by the government to 9 districts in Delhi, 15 in Haryana, 10 in Andhra Pradesh, 10 in Odisha, 9 in Himachal Pradesh, 7 in Uttarakhand, 2 in Goa and 1 in Chandigarh. The Center has said that these are the reasons for concern for us. The Center also announced that it will also send a high level committee to Maharashtra and Punjab.

The figure on Saturday is higher in the last 2 months

The cases of corona infection recorded on Saturday are the highest among the daily cases reported in the last 59 days. On Saturday, more than 18 thousand 765 cases were seen in the country, in which more than 10 thousand cases were registered in Maharashtra. At the same time, the figure of more than 100 deaths fell to 99 for two days. Saturday's cases in the country were the highest daily cases since 6 January. 18894 cases were registered on 28 January.

According to an analysis of Saturday's data, the weekly average of Kovid-19 cases in the country has increased to 16,311 for the 20th consecutive day. Maharashtra registered 10,187 new cases a day after crossing the 10,000 mark on Friday with 10,167. 1,925 cases were registered in Pune in the state, followed by 1,217 in Nagpur and 1,188 in Mumbai. Maharashtra also recorded 47 deaths.
