29 Gram Panchayats in Rajasthan have been deemed the first state to do so by CM Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, said on Thursday that his state is the first in the nation to proclaim 29 gram panchayats free of TB. For outstanding efforts in TB eradication, he claimed that four state districts received silver medals and four received bronze medals at the national level.

At a symposium on TB-free Rajasthan, he declared, “This indicates our serious efforts towards eradicating tuberculosis.” According to him, the state administration is always trying to achieve the goal of “Nirogi Rajasthan” by 2030, which calls for Rajasthan to be the best state in every category, including health. He said, “It is our aim to create medical facilities in every hamlet and to give health care to every citizen.

The event was place at the chief minister’s mansion, where he also began and lay the cornerstone for a number of construction projects via video conference. On this occasion, he also touched off 70 brand-new ambulances. “A patient with TB has an extremely miserable existence. In India, 26% of the world’s TB sufferers reside, and of them, 6% do so in Rajasthan. By 2025, we want Rajasthan to be TB-free, the official said.

The TB-free gram panchayat initiative, according to the chief minister, aims to find and cure patients as far down as the panchayat level. The first state in the nation to proclaim 29 gram panchayats tuberculosis-free is Rajasthan, according to him. According to the chief minister, the state government’s top priority are health and education.

“Excellent health and education infrastructure develops only from good human resource,” he said. According to Gehlot, Rajasthan is the first state in the nation to pass legislation granting the general public the right to health.

According to him, the Chiranjeevi program provides residents with free medical care up to a maximum of Rs. 25 lakh and accident insurance up to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh. Parsadi Lal Meena, the minister of health, also spoke at the event.
