695 votes have been cast so far from Chamba homes

On May 21 and 22, 695 people cast ballots from the comfort of their homes ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections. Voting from home was available to 166 electors from Bhattiyat, 129 from Dalhousie, 156 from Chamba, 105 from Bharmour, and 139 from Churah.

Chamba According to Mukesh Repaswal, Deputy Commissioner and District Electoral Officer, absentee voters include those with disabilities, elderly citizens 85 years of age and older, and staff members who work in different agencies and provide critical services.

Representative Samaru said that from May 21 to May 28, voters 85 years of age and older and those with disabilities may cast their ballots door-to-door with the help of mobile polling teams. Voting facilities are available to vital service employees at the sub-divisional headquarters.
