A city couple’s automobile was stolen by three criminals

A city resident and his wife had their Hyundai i20 stolen by three miscreants last night. The incident happened close to the Kochar Market police station at Midha Chowk. The suspects attempted to abduct the lady as she was seated in the car, but her husband was able to free her.

ACP Jatin Bansal arrived at the location and began an investigation after learning about the occurrence. In an attempt to learn more about the suspects, the police started looking through the local CCTV systems.

Living in the Green Field neighborhood, Narinderpal Singh claimed he and his wife were driving home in their Hyundai i20 when they made a stop at Midha Chowk to pick up some medication. Simmi, his wife, sat in the car while he went to the store. As he was walking to his vehicle after purchasing the medications, he was startled to see that three criminals had broken into it. They were attempting to remove the car. In some way, he managed to get his wife out of the car, and then the miscreants drove off.

Simmi said that three miscreants attempted to cover her mouth with their hands after getting into the vehicle. She contacted her husband for assistance after successfully prying open one of the car’s windows.

According to ACP Jatin Bansal, the suspects would soon be taken into custody after the police obtained some crucial information about them.
