 The three-day summer festival at the hill station Mount Abu had a colorful launch on Friday. In the morning at Nakki Lake, Municipal President Jitu Rana, SDM Kanishk Kataria and Assistant Director of Tourism Department Sumita Meena started the festival by flagging off the Run for Nakki. Run for Nakki was organized from Nakki Lake to Polo Ground. Later, a grand procession was taken out from the bus stand to Nakki Lake. After the procession, there was a display of weapons by the army at Nakki Lake Garden. School students were given information related to war and weapons. Tree plantation program was organized in the afternoon. Volleyball match was organized at 4 pm at Mim Presentation and Polo Ground. Nishita Patel, Jhanvi Patel and Richa Patel in the category of girls below 14 years in Run for Nakki Marathon, Ahan Aggarwal-Rihan Patel, Vedanta and Yash Raj in boys below 14 years, Deepika Chavda, Rupam Singh and senior girls in the category of Run for Nakki Marathon. Anshuli Patel, Ayush, Dharmaraj Meena and Bhuwana Rathore in senior boys and Kamlesh, Shailesh Patel and Premshankar (80) in above 45 years category stood first, second and third respectively. All the winners and runners-up were felicitated by the subdivision administration.
Today this program will be On the second day of the festival, on Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm, rock climbing and repling will be organized near the Rose Garden. There will be a boat race at Nakki Lake at 10.30. Mehndi, Mandana, Rangoli, Safa Dam competition will be held from 12 noon to 3 pm. The heritage walk will start from Rajasthan Holiday Home after 3 pm. A football match will be organized at the Polo Ground at 4 pm. A comedy act will be performed by Ravindra Johnny at Polo Ground from 7:30 pm. Sufi Musical will be performed by Ali Dhani Brothers at Polo Ground at 8.30 pm.
