A friend chokes a young person in Sector 51, Chandigarh, and is arrested

This morning in Sector 51, a 23-year-old youth’s corpse was discovered with belts around his neck. The victim’s buddy was detained by the UT police for the murder some hours later.

The offender allegedly battered the woman before strangling her, according to the police. Around 8:35 a.m., they learned that the corpse was lying close to a housing society. A squad raced over to the scene.

Two belts, according to the authorities, were cinched around the victim’s neck. A group from the CFSL examined the area.

Subsequently, Sector 38 (west) resident Ajit was recognized as the victim. After learning about the occurrence, his mother, Rekha, arrived at the location.

At the Sector 49 police station, the officers filed a murder case and began their investigation.

Vimal (23), who lives in the open in Mohali’s Phase VII market area, was apprehended by a team led by Inspector Jasbir Singh, Sector 49 SHO, and members of the District Crime Cell (DCC) during the course of the inquiry.

The accused admitted during questioning that he had been harboring resentment against the victim and his brother, who had reportedly abused him one month before. Under the guise of perpetrating a theft, the accused forced the victim to go to Sector 51 in an effort to exact retribution. Vimal choked on the guy as soon as he got there.

The victim’s mother, four brothers, and one sister are still alive.
