A setback for the Congress in Rajasthan as 400 employees leave the party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The Congress suffered a significant blow on Friday when over 400 party employees in Rajasthan submitted their resignations from the party’s main membership, according to sources cited by news agency IANS.

With just a few days remaining in the Lok Sabha election of 2024, the Congress party is in serious jeopardy due to the recent wave of resignations by numerous high-profile members of the party.

The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and the Congress forged an alliance for the Nagaur Lok Sabha seat, which made matters worse. Internal party strife was exacerbated by the Congress’s decision to select RLP Chief Hanuman Beniwal as the candidate in Nagau.
