A speeding SUV kills a cyclist, and two are detained

On Wednesday, a speeding SUV struck a 65-year-old man on a motorbike from behind, crushing him before it collided with another car in front of it. The dead person was identified as Khanpur inhabitant Kishan Lal.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Vichitra Veer, the local police responded quickly to the scene after receiving information of an accident at the Rajouri Garden police station at approximately ten in the morning. Meanwhile, earlier in the day, on the Rafi Marg, a fast motorist collided with a parked car close to Parliament. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the collision. But the force of the collision was so great that the offending car became a turtle.

According to DK Mahla, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi), no complaints have been received on the issue. “The motorist crashed into one of the parked cars. We’re going to court. Thus far, no complaints have been received. We are looking over our legal options,” the DCP said.
