According to Amit Shah, the NDA won 310 seats in the five phases of the Lok Sabha elections

Union Home Minister Amit Shah asked the people of Odisha on Tuesday to liberate the state from “babu-raj” and enable the BJP to establish government both at the federal level and in the state, claiming that the NDA had already secured 310 seats after the conclusion of the five phases of the Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at two election rallies in Sambalpur, the home of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s campaign for the BJP, Shah said that the party’s emblem, the lotus, would blossom in Odisha this time.

Following the votes’ fifth round, the NDA has now secured 310 seats. After the sixth and seventh polling phases, we would win more than 400 seats,” Shah said.

Claiming that a “handful of officers” have been ruling Odisha, Shah said that this election would put an end to the “babu raj” that has been going on in the state. Despite the fact that the majority of the nation’s mining and mineral deposits are situated in the Keonjhar area, he said that the tribal people living there get no benefits.

The Union Home Minister said that Modi has made sure there is no terrorism in the nation, saying that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) was and would stay part of India. India would accept the PoK.”

He attacked the Congress and its leaders, saying they were afraid Pakistan might get hold of an atomic weapon. “Modi has given a befitting reply to Pakistan’s terror activities and he does not fear such threat of nuclear bomb,” Shah said.

Shah criticized the previous Congress administration harshly, stating that “Congress has done nothing for tribals.” While Narendra Modi has been the prime minister, he has fought to eradicate naxalism in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had established a special ministry for tribal issues.”

According to Shah, PM Modi established the district mineral foundation (DMF) and provided billions of rupees for the development of the tribal area.

The BJP administration established 740 Ekalabya Schools, where one lakh kids are already enrolled. “The budgetary allocation for tribal affairs has been enhanced to Rs 1.25 lakh crore during Modi government from Rs 25,000 crore given during the previous UPA regime,” Shah added. He said that these institutions had appointed roughly 40,000 instructors.

According to Shah, kendu leaf pluckers will get a bonus and a fair price for their small-scale forest production. Additionally, he announced the establishment of two 500-bed hospitals and a medical college in Sambalpur and Keonjhar, respectively. He claimed that Kendu leaf workers will get provisions from the Provident Fund (PF).

Shah also said that the pride, language, culture, and traditions of Odisha had been insulted by the BJD administration.

“BJP will give a young, energetic, hardworking and dynamic Odia ‘Bhumiputra’ (son of the soil) as chief minister if voted to power in the state,” he said to the crowd.

In a year and a half, he said, the incoming BJP administration will provide employment to two lakh people.

Shah declared: “Babu shahi, or officers’ rule, is being imposed on Odisha by Naveen Babu, undermining the pride and dignity of the Odia people.” He is undermining the state’s pride and culture.”

In order to guarantee quick growth and the preservation of their rich culture, Shah pleaded with the populace to choose a BJP administration for the state.

“A Bhumiputra will rule the land of ‘Utkala Bhumi’ and not a Tamil babu if people vote for the BJP,” he said.

Claiming that the BJD administration intends to turn the Jagannath temple into a commercial hub, Shah said that Puri’s mutts and temples have been “destroyed” and that the temple’s four gates have not yet been opened to the public.

“Even a conspiracy was hatched to halt the world-famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath,” Shah said.

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, he further said, is doing all in his power to “loot mineral resources” from the state.

Despite having abundant natural riches, Odisha lacks a chief minister who can safeguard such resources, according to Shah. “Western Odisha has also been ignored by the BJD administration. The BJP is dedicated to ensuring that every region of the state develops equally,” he said.
