According to Vikramaditya, anything is possible in politics and all avenues are open

“Everything is possible in politics, and all doors are open,” said Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh a few days after meeting the six dissident Congress MLAs who had been disqualified from the Assembly according to the anti-defection statute.

Singh said he had done his job of meeting the rebels, as he had been formally ordered to do. After conducting conversations with the six renegade MLAs in Panchkula and prominent Congress officials in the nation’s capital, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he returned to Shimla.

Singh further said that he had notified the party high leadership about the existing circumstances since it was his moral obligation, which he had carried out. He said, “I have communicated to the high command the opinions of the Congress rebels and vice versa.”

Rajinder Rana, a rebel Congress MLA, resigned from his position as the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee’s (HPCC) acting president today. Rana said on Facebook, “I wished for justice, but received only humiliation.”

He continued, writing, “You are well aware of the political developments that have occurred in the state over the last several days. I am writing this post to inform you of a covert conspiracy because my dedication, trust, commitment, loyalty, and responsibility are towards you, not some dwarf emperor who is seated at the top of the political ladder.”

“You will recall the commitments we made to you as Congress representatives in the Himachal Pradesh election. You gave us the chance to fulfill our pledges by casting your vote for us and showing your belief in what we had promised. What, however, are such promises really worth today? He continued.
