Accused Sachin Bishnoi was extradited to India and given a 10-day police custody sentence for the Sidhu Moose Wala murder

On Tuesday, Sachin Bishnoi, one of the main suspects in the murder of well-known Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala, was extradited from Baku, Azerbaijan, to India. Due to security concerns, he was brought before a judge of a Delhi court right away after arriving. He was then sentenced to ten days in the Delhi Police Special Cell’s custody.

Two days after a team from the Special Cell of the Delhi Police traveled to Baku, Azerbaijan, to complete the legal procedures, the extradition took place.

One of the suspected conspirators in the murder of the Punjabi musician, which happened in May of last year, is Sachin Bishnoi, the cousin of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi.

On May 29, 2022, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot and killed in Punjab’s Mansa district.

After claiming responsibility for the murder of Moose Wala on Facebook, Sachin began a legal struggle in Azerbaijan to prevent extradition to India after being jailed there in August 2022.
