Indore: The joint action of the Municipal Corporation and the police on illegal encroachments by goons and mafias in Madhya Pradesh's economic capital Indore continued on Saturday. On Friday, the house of Pyare Mian, accused of sexual exploitation, was demolished at Lalaram Nagar. At the same time, on Saturday morning, the Municipal Corporation team put an end to the illegal occupation of Sheikh Mukhtiar. The Municipal Corporation team along with the district administration and the police set ablaze the illegal occupations done by Sheikh Mukhtiar in the Vijay Nagar police station area.
According to Municipal Corporation sources, preparations for this action were started from Friday night itself. Corporation employees gathered at the LIG Link Road intersection on Saturday morning. He was accompanied by the Pokelin machine and bulldozers for sabotage. At first, the warehouse and shops on the green belt of Sheikh Mukhtiar in Radhika Kunj were demolished by the bulldozer of the corporation. In the past, the corporation has taken action on the illegal possession of Mukhtiyar, but it has re-captured there. Additional Commissioner of the Corporation Devendra Singh, Deputy Commissioner Lata Aggarwal and Assistant Removal Officer Bablu Kalyan were also present with the police force and corporators during the action.
Significantly, the police and the municipal corporation have identified seven such goons in the eastern and western areas who have several serious crimes registered. Earlier, illegal constructions and encroachments of Sajid Chandanwala, Jeetendra alias Nanu Tayade, Arun Verma, Lucky Verma, Pyare Mian and Ashwin Sirolia have been broken. The same action will continue till the next order. In all the major cities of the state including Bhopal and Gwalior, on the instructions of the state government, there is a campaign of illegal construction of goons and breaking encroachments.
