Adani Enterprises to develop data center in India in joint venture with US company Edgeconnex

Adani Enterprise is about to develop Data Center in India. These data centers will be developed in a joint venture with a US company. Giving this information on Tuesday, Adani Enterprises said that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with US company EdgeConex to develop and operate data centers across the country.
In a communication to stock exchanges, Adani Enterprises said the deal was signed between its wholly owned subsidiary DC Development Chennai and Edgeconnex Europe, a subsidiary of Edgeconnex Europe. The joint venture aims to develop a GW data center capability over the next decade.
Data center will be built in these cities
Joint venture AdaniConex JV will focus on building a network of hyperscale data centers in India. It will be launched from the markets of Chennai, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.
Both companies said that development and construction work has started at these places. However, the companies did not give information about the investment figures. Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, said that India currently has the world's largest data subscribing population. In such a situation, cloud, content, network, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers are basic needs in the country to meet the needs of enterprises.
