After comparing “Santana” with dengue and malaria, Udhayanidhi Stalin posted about insect repellant

Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Tamil Nadu minister whose comments associating “Sanatana Dharma” with dengue, malaria, and corona and calling for its “eradication” sparked a significant political uproar, tweeted a photo of a mosquito repellent coil on Monday. According to his post on X, previously Twitter, his “Sanatana” statements are in reference to the fact that dengue and malaria are transmitted by mosquito bites.

According to the most recent post, the DMK leader won’t let up even if the BJP intends to intensify its campaign against the Opposition on the matter. Both the INDIA bloc of the opposition and Stalin Junior received harsh criticism from the saffron party. The BJP questioned the INDIA bloc’s silence on Udhayanidhi’s statements and enquired as to if it was a part of its election-related plot to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The INDIA coalition includes the DMK, the party of Stalin. The “Sanatana Dharma” controversy is reportedly still ongoing, and the BJP plans to mount a concerted offensive against the Opposition during its election campaign in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chattisgarh, where assembly elections will be conducted later this year.

What was said by Udhayanidhi Stalin?

Earlier this month, Udhayanidhi said, “Few things cannot be opposed, they should be eradicated,” during a symposium held in Chennai by the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Artists Association. We must destroy dengue, mosquitoes, malaria, and corona because we cannot fight them. Similarly, rather than fighting against Sanatana (Sanatan Dharma), we must abolish it.

The DMK politician was accused of advocating for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma, which is practiced by 80% of India’s population, by the BJP, which reacted swiftly.

Additionally responding to the statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi allegedly instructed his council of ministers to provide a “proper response” to Udhaynidhi’s comments. The BJP, however, changed its emphasis on emphasizing the event in light of the G20 Summit. The “Sanatana Dharma” controversy will reappear in most of the BJP’s electoral campaigns now that the G20 Summit is ended.
