Agriscience excellence is honored at PAU’s award ceremony

The Dr. Gurdev Singh Khush Foundation for Advancement of Agricultural Sciences honored agricultural innovation excellence at Punjab Agricultural University’s (PAU) annual awards event. Leading the ceremony was Padma Shri winner Dr. Gurdev Singh Khush, who presented prizes, travel grants, and scholarships to deserving scientists and students from PAU and GADVASU.

During the occasion, a number of prizes and recognitions were given out, such as travel grants, scholarships, and the Dr. Darshan Singh Brar Award in Agriculture, which was given to Dr. Praveen Chhuneja. Dr. Chhuneja gave the Rs. 3 lakh award money to PAU so that it may help a worthy PhD student. The Dr. Darshan Singh Brar Young Scientist Award was given to Dr. Manpreet Singh in recognition of his achievements to the field of paddy stubble management technology.
