Asaram Covid Positive: Asaram, who is lodged in Jodhpur jail, is also corona positive, admitted to ICU after deteriorating health
The Asaram Bapu Covid Positive, who is serving a sentence in Jodhpur central jail in Rajasthan, has also become corona infected. He was rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital after a sudden deterioration on Wednesday night. Due to the seriousness of the situation, the doctor has done preliminary investigation and has admitted him to the ICU.
On May 3, when Asaram saw mild symptoms of corona, his sample was taken and sent for examination. Asaram's report came back positive on Wednesday evening. After which his health started deteriorating. Last month, about a dozen prisoners were found corona positive in Jodhpur's Central Jail. All Corona-positive prisoners were isolated at the prison dispensary.
Admitted to the hospital in February too
Earlier on 18 February, Asaram was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain. However, due to not being found anything serious, he was sent back to Jodhpur Central Jail after two days. After this news, a large number of followers of Asaram had gathered outside the jail and the police had to face a lot of difficulty in removing them from there.
155 infected patients died in last 24 hours
In the second wave of corona infection in Rajasthan, 16,815 new infected patients have been revealed on Wednesday. This figure is the lowest so far in five days of May. On the other hand, a record 17,022 patients have been recovered in the state today. This information has been revealed in the data released by the Medical Department. However, the death toll of the corona infected remains worrying. On Wednesday, 155 infected patients died in the state. After which the total number of deaths in the state has been 5021. Kovid still has 1,96,683 active patients in the state.
