Officials said on Wednesday, a day before Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra is expected to arrive in Kashmir, that security personnel are on high alert and have put all precautions in place along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway for the safety of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Alok Avasthi, the Deputy Inspector General for Operations for the CRPF in South Kashmir, said that the force is already always vigilant.
