Bittu Bajrangi, who is suspected of nuh violence, thrashes a guy in front of police

Police claimed on Wednesday that cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi, who was also charged with Nuh violence, was seen on video hitting a guy with a stick while a policeman looked on.

They added that Bajrangi has been charged and that the policeman may face suspension.

The victim, Shyamu, said in his complaint that he was beaten because Bittu Bajrangi, Rajkumar Panchal’s alias, believed he was a Muslim.

Shyamu said that he was picked up by three guys and brought to Bajrangi’s residence when he was out shopping for chocolates with a female.

A video of the event went viral online, depicting Bittu Bajrangi and a few other guys assaulting Shyamu, a tenant in Faridabad’s Sanjay Enclave.

Shyamu reported the incident to the Saran Police Station, stating that it happened on Monday.

He said that after being apprehended by several guys, he was brought to Bajrangi’s home, where he was beaten with sticks, held down, and threatened with death.

He complained, saying, “That girl is like my daughter, but because of a misunderstanding, they took me to Bittu Bajrangi, who attacked me without cause, thinking that I am from the Muslim community.”

According to the complaint, Bajrangi and his colleagues were the subject of a formal complaint filed under the Indian Penal Code’s Sections 323 (causing pain), 341 (wrongful restraint), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (acts done by multiple individuals in furtherance of common aim).

“An FIR has been filed, and higher authorities have also received a suggestion that the police officer be suspended. The accused will be taken into custody shortly as we look into the situation, according to Station House Officer Sangram Dahiya.

Bajrangi has been free on bail since his detention in a violent crime that occurred in Nuh, Haryana, last year.
