Calling PK a “BJP agent,” Tejashwi claims that “uncle Nitish” gave him JD(U) veep

RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said on Friday that election strategist Prashant Kishor was an agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while Kishor also launched a scathing assault on the Congress party for misrepresenting his affiliation with the party.

In an interview with reporters, Tejashwi said that the BJP was losing the polls and that Kishor had been invited in order to tilt the balance of power in its favor after three rounds of voting.

“Even my uncle Nitish Kumar said that Prashant Kishor was named national vice-president of JD-U at Amit Shah’s request. Neither Prashant Kishor nor Shah have refuted the charge as of yet. He joined the BJP right from the start. The former deputy chief minister said, “Any party he joins will be destroyed.”

Months before the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Kishor had joined JD (U), but after criticizing the party’s stance on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in 2020, he was kicked out of the organisation.

Severing his criticism of Kishor, Tejashwi said that the election strategist had paid district presidents of his group, Jan Suraaj, an act that may not have even been carried out by the BJP.

“I have no idea where he gets the money. He continues to work with various clients each year. He provides your data to someone else. In addition to being a BJP agent, he adheres to their philosophy and has a BJP attitude. Tejashwi said, “The BJP is funding him as part of their strategy.”

The accusations were made by the RJD leader after a bogus screenshot went popular on social media, purporting that Kishor had been named the national spokesman for the BJP. Jan Suraaj, Kishor’s organization, took exception at the phony screenshot that seemed to be a statement on BJP letterhead and charged senior Congressman Jairam Ramesh of disseminating it on WhatsApp.
