Chandrayaan 3: Center Requests Live Streaming of Moon Landing at All Universities, Including IITs and IIMs

Chandrayaan 3 is expected to arrive on the moon today at 6:04 p.m., making a gentle landing on the moon’s south pole, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

“India’s Chandrayaan-3’s landing is a historic event that would not only pique youths’ interest but also ignite their love for exploration. As we jointly celebrate the excellence of Indian science and technology, it will foster a deep feeling of pride and oneness. In a letter to all heads of educational institutions, Higher Education Secretary K Sanjay Murthy said that it will help to develop a culture of scientific research and innovation.

In order to witness this historic event, the Higher Education Institutions are urged to plan special assemblies from 5.30 to 6.30 pm to watch Chandrayaan-3’s lunar landing LIVE streaming, according to the letter.

In a previous notification, the University Grants Commission (UGC) urged all institutions and universities to arrange special gatherings and stream the landing of Chandrayaan 3, India’s third lunar mission, on Wednesday.

“India’s Chandrayaan-3’s landing is a historic event that would not only pique youths’ interest but also ignite their love for exploration.
