Chiranjeevi backs candidates from the NDA

Superstar Chiranjeevi, who has been out of politics since his Praja Rajyam Party was merged with the Congress in the past and he served as a Union minister in the UPA administration, has supported NDA candidates.

In support of them, Chiranjeevi was seen in a film issued to the media on Sunday. It showed him sitting on a couch with CM Ramesh, the BJP candidate for the Anakapalle Lok Sabha seat, and Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, the Jana Sena Party nominee for the Pendurthi Assembly sector.

“I am speaking on politics after a long gap,” Chiranjeevi said. The BJP, my brother Pawan Kalyan, and TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu have forged an alliance in Andhra Pradesh, which is a positive step.

“The second reason is that Panchakarla Ramesh, who began his political career with my blessings, and my buddy CM Ramesh are running for the Pendurthi Assembly seat and the Anakapalle Lok Sabha constituency. I’m glad for them. They are excellent leaders in addition to being decent individuals, he said.

He expressed his firm belief that both leaders will make significant contributions to the growth of the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats. CM Ramesh in particular has strong ties to the Central authorities. I’ve been watching the developments, so I know this. With their leadership, not just Anakapalle but also other constituencies in the area stand to gain,” he said.

In the elections, Chiranjeevi asked for the people’s blessings and their mandate to be given to the two leaders and the tripartite coalition. “I hope Andhra Pradesh grows well overall,” he said.
