CM of Punjab Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to travel Bhavnagar and Bharuch as part of the AAP campaign from April 16–17

Gandhinagar: Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, is expected to tour Gujarat on April 16 and 17, conducting a two-day campaign blitz to endorse the AAP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

This action takes place in the context of the AAP and Congress negotiating a new seat-sharing arrangement within the India group.

CM Mann will endorse contender Umesh Makwana in Bhavnagar on his first day of campaigning. He is going to rally for Chaitar Vasava in Bharuch the next day.

The AAP’s aspirations to increase its influence in Gujarat depend on both of these constituencies. Vasava clan members are engaged in a three-way race for the Bharuch Lok Sabha seat.

Prominent tribal leader Chhotu Vasava has declared that his younger son, Dilip Vasava, will run for the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) in the next general election from the Bharuch seat.

In an attempt to keep its base, the BJP has fielded Mansukh Vasava, its incumbent MP, in this race. In response, the opposition steps up the battle by selecting Dediapada MLA Chaitar Vasava, who represents the India bloc.

It is thus Vasava vs. Vasava vs. Vasava in Bharuch. This is a unique constituency that has interests for the Congress, AAP, BAP, and BJP. Since other parties have not yet nominated their candidates, the BJP and the Congress are the main contenders in the majority of Gujarati seats.
