CM Revanth Reddy accuses employees of the Energy Department of covering up his errors: BRS
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was criticized by the BRS on Wednesday for disparaging junior Energy department staff members in relation to the power outage problem.
BRS leader Dasoju Sravan said, “Revanth Reddy is covering up his own incompetence shamelessly and degrading the self-respect of junior employees of the electricity department by making baseless, unlawful, and unethical accusations against them.”
“Junior employees, linemen, and assistants in the electricity department come from socially disadvantaged backgrounds,” Sravan said in a statement released here on Wednesday. It is socially unacceptable for a high ranking government official such as Revanth Reddy to treat subordinate staff members unfairly and with contempt. I want Revanth Reddy to take back his unfounded comments and offer an apology to the less experienced staff members.
According to T Harish Rao, a former finance minister, the chief minister was assigning blame to subordinate staff instead than owning up to his mistakes. The CM also accused me of causing power outages. He believes that everyone would have conspiracies similar to his,” he said.
