Congratulations to India on Chandrayaan-3’s successful moon landing from Russian President Putin and UAE Vice President

Among the world leaders who congratulated India on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon on Wednesday were Russian President Vladimir Putin and UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed. They noted that the momentous occasion is proof of India’s impressive development in the scientific and technological fields.

According to the Kremlin’s press staff, President Putin congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian President Draupadi Murmu on the Chandrayaan-3 space probe’s successful landing on the Moon close to its South Pole.

“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the Chandrayaan-3 space mission from India successfully landing on the Moon close to the South Pole. This is a significant step in the exploration of space and, of course, is proof of India’s tremendous advancements in science and engineering, according to Putin’s statement.

Last week, Luna-25, Russia’s first lunar mission in over 50 years, crashed onto the Moon one day after spinning out of control. The Russian spacecraft sought to establish a record by performing the first-ever soft landing on the lunar south pole.

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, commended India on becoming the first nation to land a spacecraft on the challenging lunar south pole.

“Congratulations to our Indian friends on their successful moon landing. India continues to create history, and nations are formed through tenacity, he said in a tweet on his account on X, previously known as Twitter.

The Chandrayan-3 mission was a success, as the Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, or “Prachanda,” also complimented his Indian counterpart on.

“I congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and ISRO team of India on successful landing of Chandrayan-3 on the surface of the moon today and the unleashing of a historic achievement in science and space technology,” he said in a post on X.

James Cleverly, the foreign secretary for the United Kingdom, called it a “historic moment.” “Congratulations to India for becoming the first country to arrive on the South Pole of the moon. The Indian people have accomplished something wonderful, he remarked.

Abdulla Shahid, the foreign minister of the Maldives, praised India for making history.

India is a history-maker! We are pleased with #Chandrayaan3’s successful landing in our neighborhood and as a South Asian country. The achievement of this benefits all of mankind! opening up new channels for research in new areas. Thank you #India,” he wrote on X.

Foreign Minister of Iran H Amirabdollahian praised India for “the flawless Chandrayaan3 mission,” stating that this accomplishment is felt all around the globe.

“Congratulations on India’s outstanding accomplishment in successfully launching and landing its spacecraft on the moon. In a post on X, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen wrote, “The moon has never looked as gorgeous as it does right now.

Alan Ganoo, the foreign minister of Mauritius, praised India’s government and ISRO for the “momentous achievement” of the Chandrayaan-3 pioneering lunar mission.

In a letter of congratulations, Nepal’s foreign minister N P Saud stated that the achievement “is not only a source of national pride for our Indian friends, but also a significant milestone in the advancement of space science and technology, which ultimately contributes to improving our lives.”

After a flawless 41-day journey, India’s third Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, landed on the lunar south pole at 6:04 p.m. on Wednesday.

After the US, China, and the former Soviet Union, India is now the fourth nation to have mastered the science of soft-landing on the lunar surface thanks to its touchdown on the Moon in its second attempt in four years.
