Congressman Feroz Khan claims there are 6.72 lakh fraudulent votes in the Hyderabad LS district

In the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, Congress leader Feroz Khan said on Wednesday that out of the total number of votes, over 22 lakh are fraudulent voters. He called on the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take corrective action against the negligent officials and clean up the electoral registers. He sent the ECI a report detailing anomalies he had found along with purported supporting documentation.

Speaking to the media, Feroz Khan said that a 200 square yard home in Yakutpura had almost 660 registered voters. In another instance, he added, 360 people were registered to vote in a residence that was 100 square yards. He said that the election records included the names of deceased people as well. He questioned, “Are the cops resurrecting the dead?”

He also wanted to know why the authorities in question had not been charged with cheating or breach of trust. Nonetheless, he voiced assurance that the Congress administration, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, will clean up the electoral lists.
