Corona crisis: urine test can save the life of a Kovid patient! These claims made in the Lancet report
A report has been published in the world's prestigious Medical General Lancet, which can reveal how much the life of a patient suffering from Kovid is in danger. Examination of the protein peptide (a series of amino acids) in urine can reveal how severe the corona patient's disease has reached because the effect of corona is on the patient's lungs, heart, liver and kidneys.
In many cases, the patient suffering from corona suddenly worsens after 8-10 days and before the doctors can get any proper treatment for him - due to multi organ failure, the patient also dies instantly. The cause of death can be anything - heart failure, kidney failure or liver failure - but in reality it is due to corona infection spreading in these parts of the body.
10 percent of such deaths in which fever is normal
So far, the treatment of corona is being done, in which mainly the fever of the patient and the oxygen level in the body are being monitored prominently. But about 10 percent of the deaths are also taking place in which all the oxygen level or fever is normal. But suddenly the health of the corona patient worsens. Or he is going to die a few days after Corona recovers. In this, the direct cause can be anything from heart failure to kidney failure, but the real reason is the damage caused by the corona virus.
The study which has been published in the Lancet Journal goes into its depth. It states that about 10 percent of corona patients have 2 or 3 severe stages of the disease that can be targeted within 7 to 10 days in an infected person. One way of this is to check the urine of the patient. By this investigation, it can be found whether the infection has not reached the kidney through heart, blood and liver, besides the lungs, and if it is found, then the patient’s life can be saved by timely treatment. .
Corona patients suddenly worsen after recovery
Although the study after which this report has been published is still in its initial stage, but it makes a big disclosure on the deaths of corona patients after discharge from hospital or suddenly. Detection of protein peptide in urine is a new field of science in which much work is still being done. It is difficult to say how effective medical science is in this field in India. But after the publication of this report in reputed medical general like Lancet, it is expected that doctors in India will make it a part of treatment. This can save the lives of such Kovid patients whose condition is suddenly worsening.
Just last week, the health of India's famous journalist and news anchor Rohit Sardana also suddenly deteriorated, while till last night he looked absolutely well. But he died of a heart attack in the morning. If he too had been tested for urin protein peptide, he might have been alive today. But still many lives can be saved from this important study.
