Darang, an ex-MLA, and Maheshwar Singh boycott the Mandi BJP gathering
To secure the party’s candidate’s win in the Mandi seat, State BJP President Rajeev Bindal and Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur have urged party members to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. To plan out how to step up the election campaign in the Mandi parliamentary seat, a meeting was conducted here today. BJP state spokesman Ajay Rana, former minister and rebel Ram Lal Markanda, former MP Maheshwar Singh, and former Darang MLA Jawahar Thakur did not attend the meeting.
In order to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of winning more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha, Thakur asked party members to put in a lot of effort. He asked them to inform people about the Central Government’s public welfare programs.
“The state government led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is in minority and will not survive for long,” he said after the Rajya Sabha elections. Congressmen are mired in internal conflict and don’t care about issues raised by the public. In fifteen months, not a single poll promise has been met. Instead of focusing on development, the Chief Minister has dedicated all of his efforts on rescuing the government.
Congressmen are leaving politics out of fear of losing the next election, according to the former chief minister. While the BJP is unified for the elections, they are occupied with pushing one another. It seems certain that the BJP will win both the Assembly byelections and the Lok Sabha polls.
He said, “It was decided to step up the Mandi parliamentary constituency election campaign.” Our goal is to guarantee the party’s candidates win in each of the four Himachal Lok Sabha seats. People have already decided to give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a third term in office.
