“A call was received at Chittaranjan Park police station on Sunday regarding the accident at Masjid Moth which was being driven by a woman, that hit another car parked on the roadside,” Delhi police said.

In the meanwhile, four pedestrians on the road were hurt.

“The car struck four bystanders, Yashwant Nalwade (58), Devraj Madhukar Gargate (50), Manohar (62) and Nitin Kolhapuri, because the impact was so strong,” Delhi police said.

“MLCs of all injured individuals are being prepared, and they were transported to the AIIMS Trauma Hospital for treatment,” they said.

Additionally, legal action will be taken in accordance with the applicable IPC provisions. The official said, “The female driver has also been sent to the hospital along with her family members for medical examination.”
