The Delhi Public School (DPS) situated in the RK Puram precinct of the national capital found itself ensnared in a bomb threat on Friday. In response to this ominous communication, the authorities swiftly initiated the evacuation of the premises as a precautionary measure.

The menacing communication, delivered via email, explicitly conveyed an imminent detonation of an explosive device within the confines of the school. The Delhi Police, as reported by the news agency ANI, were promptly apprised of this distressing revelation.

Following the alert, law enforcement swiftly engaged in a meticulous search operation on the school premises. As of now, their efforts have yielded no evidence of any suspicious objects or activities within the school compound.

Simultaneously, the city of Mumbai has been thrust into a state of heightened vigilance. The Mumbai Police, in response to a foreboding message asserting the placement of explosive devices within the city, have initiated a thorough investigation. The communication, received at the Worli traffic control room around 12:30 am on Friday, asserted the imminent detonation of bombs strategically positioned at six locations within the financial hub of the nation.

The Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) swiftly mobilized upon receiving the alarming message. A comprehensive probe is currently underway to trace the originator of this ominous communication. The authorities have registered a case under the pertinent section 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code, addressing statements that sow discord, animosity, or ill-will between societal classes, as articulated by an official.
