Delhi has had some rain, and the IMD expects showers in these states

On Sunday, rain pelted sections of the Delhi-NCR and neighboring Uttar Pradesh. Although the majority of the capital's neighborhoods saw severe rain, some also experienced hailstorms. "Light intensity rain/drizzle would occur over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi, New Delhi, South-West Delhi (Nazafgarh, Dwarka, Palam, IGI Airport), NCR (Gurugram, Manesar), Hansi, Meham, Rohtak, Sohana (Haryana), Nandgaon, and Barsana," according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The Met Department said that during the following two hours, thunderstorms with light rain will pass over and near Agra (UP).

The western Himalayan area, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are expected to see thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds on March 19 and 20, according to the IMD's most recent weather prediction on Sunday.

"Isolated hailstorm is expected over Uttarakhand during March 19–21; over West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan during March 19–20; and over East Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan on March 19," the met office said.

"Rainfall with thunderstorm/hailstorm across Northwest and East India on 18th-20th; over Central, West India, and south Peninsula on March 18 and 19," the meteorological service said on Saturday.

Over the period of March 19–22, isolated areas of Northeast India are expected to see severe rain.
