Delhi: Husband and wife used to carry out snatching incident in broad daylight, police arrested

Criminals are wandering fearlessly in Delhi and are committing their crimes. Recently, another such news has come out in which it has been revealed that husband and wife used to snatch in broad daylight. However, taking action, the Delhi Police have arrested both of them.
According to the information, the Tigri police station of South Delhi has arrested the husband and wife of those who committed snatching incidents in the capital Delhi. This husband and wife used to sit on the bike and carry out the incidents of snatching in broad daylight. Both the accused also snatched a mobile in Sainik Vihar area on February 20, after which the police were looking for them both.
According to the police, they had received information that a woman and man in Delhi are carrying out snatching incidents in broad daylight. On 22 February, both Mian Biwi appeared in a bike that was snatching but the police prepared a trap to catch both of them, after which both were arrested. The accused have been named as Ashu Mohammed and Kajal. Both are residents of Sangam Vihar and have carried out many incidents.
Every year in the capital Delhi, an increase was recorded in cases like looting, snatching and theft of vehicles, but it has started to decrease due to changes in the way police personnel work. The crime rate in Delhi has reduced by 15.87 percent in 2020 as compared to the year 2019, while the graph of arrests made by police in 15.43 percent different cases has increased.
Considering the decrease in crime, it is believed that the Commissioner of Police has been able to curb the criminals on the basis of different experiments being conducted in the police.
Reduction in number of people registering FIRs
According to Delhi Police, the number of FIRs has also decreased in 2020 as compared to 2019. Compared to last year, about 12 per cent FIRs have been registered. In the year 2019, 77.45 percent crime rate was registered in Delhi while this number decreased to 65.64 percent in 2020.
According to Delhi Police, in the year 2019, 15 cases of kidnapping and extortion of children had come in the capital, while in 2020, these cases came down to 11. In the year 2019, there were 2168 incidents of rape and in the year 2020, 1699 incidents have been reported. Talking about molestation of women, there were 2921 cases in the year 2019, while in the year 2020, 2186 cases were reported.
