Dhruv was a stellar student; the cause of his suicide is unknown: Bengaluru law enforcement

Dhruv Thakkar, 19, was a standout student who was a good student, according to a police official who spoke to the press the day after he died after leaping on the train track at Attiguppe Metro Station. His performance at school was affected by his increasing fear and sadness, which were brought on by unidentified circumstances.

The first-year student came to Bengaluru to study at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU). She had achieved an outstanding All India Rank (AIR) 60 in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). His parents are well-known attorneys in Mumbai, but he made his own choices about his studies and about relocating to the city.

According to a police officer, Dhruv’s performance dropped from an A in the first trimester to a C in the final semester.

Police from Chandra Layout questioned two of his roommates in the college residence hall on Friday to get statements, but they were unable to get any information.

After a postmortem at Victoria Hospital on Friday, Dhruv’s remains was given to his parents.

The severing of Dhruv’s neck from his body and other injuries occurred after he leapt just before the train came, according to a senior physician connected to Victoria Hospital’s department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, who spoke with TNIE.
