Drone Over PM Modi’s Home: Delhi Police Reports “Nothing Detected”

On Monday morning, Delhi Police got a report about a drone being seen above Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s house, which is a no-fly zone. Around 5 am, police got the call.

When a drone was seen, Special Protection Group (SPG) notified the Delhi Police, who quickly sent officers to PM Modi’s home but found nothing.

“Information was received about drone flying in the no-fly zone over the Prime Minister’s house. At 5:30 am, SPG phoned the police. A statement from the Delhi Police said that an inquiry is under progress.

The NDD control room got information of an unknown flying item near the prime minister’s house, according to the DCP in New Delhi.

“Deep searches were conducted, but no sign of such an item could be found. ATC was also notified, but they were unable to find any flying objects close to the PM’s home, he said.

The home of Prime Minister Modi is at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. The prime minister’s house, officially known as Panchavati, is still off-limits to the general public.

Robert Tor Russell, an architect, created the prime minister’s home at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg during the 1920s and 1930s. He was a member of the team led by renowned British architect Edwin Lutyens, who created a number of government structures across Delhi.

A drone was purportedly seen in April of this year flying above Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s home in New Delhi.The region falls under the red “no-fly” or “no-drone” zone designation as well.
