Eight more NCP leaders will join the cabinet when Ajit Pawar takes the oath of office as the second deputy chief minister of Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Cabinet would likely be expanded to include up to eight NCP MLAs under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. Chhagan Bhujbal, Hasan Mushrif, Dilip Walse Patil, Dhananjay Munde, Aditi Tatkare, Anil Bhaidas Patil, Baburao Atram, and Sanjay Bansode are a few of the names mentioned.

At Raj Bhavan, the swearing-in event is anticipated to start at 4 PM. Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, and Ramesh Bais, the governor, arrived at the Raj Bhavan.

Ajit Pawar, meanwhile, took the oath of office at Raj Bhawan and joined the Eknath Shinde-led NDA administration in Maharashtra. Pawar welcomed the governor, chief minister Shinde, and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and joined them on stage after taking the oath of office.

In the presence of chief minister Eknath Shinde, Pawar arrived at Raj Bhawan earlier today with 30 NCP MLAs to join the Maharashtra administration.

Up to 30 MLAs are in favor of Ajit Pawar. The list includes Dilip Walse Patil, Hasan Mushrif, Chhagan Bhujbal, Kiran Lahmate, Nilesh Lanke, Dhananjay Munde, Ramraje Nimbalkar, Daulat Daroda, Makarkand Patil, Anul Benke, Sunil Tingre, Amol Mitkari, Aditi Takre, Shekhar Nikam, Nilay Nayak, Ashok Pawar, Anil Patil and Saroj Ahire.

Days before to his visit to Raj Bhawan, Pawar, who was purportedly furious at not being given the position of party’s state unit leader, volunteered to step down as the LoP of the Maharashtra Assembly.
